The Voice of California's Luxury Transportation Industry

A statewide 501(c)(6) non-profit association comprised of duly licensed and insured luxury transportation businesses.

More Than Three Decades of Advocacy

Founded as the Greater California Livery Association - now the California Luxury Transportation Association.

More than 31 years ago, the Greater California Livery Association was formed by a group of luxury transportation operators in California to unify and promote the livery industry, which encompasses luxury car, limousine and charter bus companies. Today, as the California Luxury Transportation Association, we remain dedicated to promoting and protecting the transportation industry by educating, informing, and providing tangible benefits to our members.

CLTA is a statewide 501(c)(6) non-profit association comprised of duly licensed and insured luxury transportation businesses. We work closely with manufacturers, coach builders, support services and suppliers, airport authorities, and local, state and federal regulatory agencies to ensure the needs and concerns of our members are being considered, and to promote and protect our industry.

Further, CLTA provides a statewide and local forum for the exchange of information and views by our members, as well as a mechanism for the collection of information to inform members about matters of mutual interest and concern.

CLTA believes that each operator has the right to operate their business as they deem necessary, provided they comply and operate within the limits of the law. CLTA educates its members on what is allowed by the rules and laws of the State of California, regulatory agencies, and various local agencies.

CLTA promotes a level playing field for legal operators and assists regulatory authorities in the elimination of illegal operators. When using the services provided by a CLTA member, the general public will know they are in a properly licensed and insured vehicle.
